It did indeed meet my requirements, so your interpretation was right. I may be sunsetting it because we will be purchasing new hardware and software for backups - which is ultimately decided by the powers that be. In other words, I may not be using it as my primary backup system in the near future although I'll probably still use it in some secondary capacity. Hey, nice to see someone from Zmanda commenting!
